Event Description
June 21 is National Indigenous Peoples Day. This is a day for all Canadians to recognize and the unique heritage , diverse cultures and outstanding contributions for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
Strathmore Municipal Library and the SAIL program invite you to learn from 3 amazing speakers on National Indigenous People’s Day. If you’ve ever needed a boost, wondered how to overcome obstacles or wanted to learn, this event is for you!
After our speakers share their stories there will be time to connect together in a talking circle.
This event is for anyone young or old who wants to set sail into a more dynamic and connected community.
Donations to support the SAIL program are gratefully accepted.
